It all began....

Chippie met Dispatcher. Chippie thought that Dispatcher was really cute. Chippie charmed dispatcher, and they fell in love!!!

Charlie and I have been together for almost 4 years now, and it has truly been the best years of our lives! We have experienced so much together!! But where did it all begin you may ask?! Well he res the story of how a Chippie met a girl and fell in love!

It was 4 years ago this month that we met. Charlie had been searching for hot chicks online, but didn't have too much luck. Until that one day, he saw my profile on Yahoo Personals! I know, kind of a weird way to meet someone that you actually like, looks like their pictures, and is cool as we are! Most people think that online dating is for creepers, but we were on there taking a shot at love!

Charlie began writing me cute little messages, about his hobbies. He did this to "woo" me in, as we had the same interests. He thought that it was so awesome that I rode motorcycles and played in the dirt, and that we were in similar fields. He tested me on what a Corvair was, and I think that's when he was in love!!! The message sat in my email for awhile, and when I finally read it, I thought, he sounds kinda cool, but he said something that made me wonder. He said that he worked in "transportation". I thought that this was odd. Was he a school bus driver? Cal Trans maybe? I was curious, so I asked more. After finding out he was a cop, I told him that I usually don't date cops because of their bad raps. He then quickly advised me that he wasn't a cop, he was a Highway Patrolman. Cute, right?!!

We chatted late nights when I got off of work in the ER, until the wee hours on the am. We always were laughing, it felt like we had known each other forever! Finishing each others sentences and thoughts, we decided that we should meet up.

It was December 8th, a Friday. We were going to just meet up for dinner, I had plans to attend a co-workers Christmas party. I remember getting to the restaurant first, and I was so nervous! What if he really wasn't the person that I thought he was?? Or he had three arms?! When he walked up, I was immediately put at ease, he was the guy that I had been chatting with all these weeks! The initial awkwardness went away immediately, and we talked the whole time, didn't even really eat! Time flew by, and it was time for me to leave, but I didn't want to! We were having such a great time, so I asked him if he wanted to come with me to the party.

Awhile later, I picked him up, and myself, Charlie and bridesmaid to be Michelle all went to the party at Sue's house. Immediately, all the girls were asking about this guy!! I told them that this was our first date, and they soon all loved him! He was a little quiet, and shy, but said some of the funniest things! And he was such a good sport! He laughed with all of my friends, played games, and was very polite. Sue, our favorite loud mouthed friend, said, "hey Dennis!". I poked her, and said his name is Charlie!!! Her response?! "Don't worry, she'll have another one next week!!". Ahh! I was so embarrassed!!

Who would have thought that 4 years later, Dennis is still around!!!

Christmas time came, what a romantic time of year!!! On New Years Eve, Charlie asked me to be his girlfriend, cute huh?! It was official from there, although we still argue on when our "true anniversary" is!

A few weeks later, I took Charlie on his first trip to Monterrey. We stayed in a beautiful room on cannery row facing the ocean. Grubbed on some tasty shrimp at Bubba Gumps, went to the aquarium, and took lots of silly pictures! That night, we had such a good time. Out in the hot tub Charlie told me he loved me. It was the most romantic moment and one of my favorites still to this day!

From there, we were spending every minute we could together. Going to the cabin, Disneyland, camping and dirt bike riding, to Tay Tay's crazy random party nights. Charlie was always the best sport, and we both got along so well with each others families. Mine, being the "redneck" species, with our loud outbursts, beer pong, and just weirdness; and Charlies with all the women who were in love with me the minute that they had those Oreo balls! Our families fell in love with their new additions!

Since then, we have had many wonderful adventures. We have had two puppers out of wedlock, Diesel-Swiffer, and Otto Yohan VonKohrsenhofen. They are the loves of our lives, and a lot of our world revolves around them, so they think! We bought our home together, The VonKohrsenhofen Compound in beautiful Brentwood. We love our home, and we can't wait to grow together as a couple and as a family.

We hope that you enjoy reading about our wedding planning adventures!

Amber- we would have still fallen in love with you without the oreo balls. Those were just an added bonus. Thank you for sharing your story with us. Jill
