The clock is ticking down!

We are almost under 2 months away!!! Next Saturday is my shower, and I just can't wait to have everyone here!! I love having a full house!

Charlie leaves with the boys for his Bachelor party the following week, and then the girls go to Vegas in September!!! Its going to be a lot of fun!!!

There is still a large list of things that I have left to do!!! Projects are slowly coming together and the day is getting closer!!!

Bridal Shower

So, as many of you probably know, I made the Bridal Shower Invites that I sent out last week, and I hope that you all enjoy them!

Wendy was telling me while I was camping last week that there was a little confusion about the wording, and I apologize! I was trying to get them all made and mailed before we left for a week!

So, its a Bridal Shower, Chickie's only please! It will be casual and we will have BBQ, which my handsome pre-husband BBQ slave will be making for us.

And, something that I realized that I forgot after I sealed all the envelopes, sizes! 36DD or 38D, Large pantie and large nightie, Charlie is a Large, 34. We are going to Costa Rica on our honeymoon.

Engagement Photo Shoot!!!!

Ok, so I know that we are about 3.5 months away, and we still haven't done our photos!!! You know why?! Because the weather has been so crappy here!! So, now that its nice and warm, we will be going next Saturday to take some amazing photos!

Josh and I have been friends for many years, he is a paramedic and I met him while working at Kaiser. He is right on the same page with me on what kind of shoot we wanted. He worked so hard on finding an amazing property to do our shoot. We are going to a farm in Livermore! We are both super excited!! I will post up pictures as soon as I get them!

All of our handmade invites are also finished! All ready to be sealed up and sent out soon!!! Charlie has started on his hunny do list, making some wooden elements for the wedding.

Save the dates are done!!!!

Well, most of you have gotten, or should be getting our save the dates soon! I did them in two batches, I ran out of paper the first go around! They are handmade, of course, by me! I had the design made for me, but designed it :) I don't have that great of super computer skills! But I did design the other insert, with the hotel info etc. :)

A note about the hotel info...This is Brentwood, we are a tiny place!!! The gal that I talked to get the hotel rooms advised me to tell my guests that they only have 55 rooms, and they fill up quickly! So please if you want to stay in town after the wedding, please give them a call! Info will be sent with the save the dates.

Hopefully you will be able to tell based on the casual save the date, that we are having a very casual day! We want you to be comfortable! Come dressed for a BBQ, because that's what its gonna be! Except, we will be celebrating us, and eating delicious BBQ! Oh and don't forget the Ding Dongs!!!

I have been getting more and more crafty as the time is getting shorter! We are less than 5 months away! Table runners are complete, and I am starting on the table numbers. Our goal is to get as much done as possible, and have everything that can be completed done by the month before. I know that there will be a bunch of last minute things coming in those last 4 weeks!

We ordered fun stuff for all the bridal party, you are all gonna love them! Very, very non traditonal of course!!!

Our spare room is slowly filling up with wedding stuff! Kinda exciting! I will keep updating as much as I can! Love you all!

Country Casual

So may ideas! Its been a little struggle for me, being so awesome and crafty, to make decisions on a lot of things!!!

I have made some decisions though!

Cake topper...

I made all of our save the dates, invites, reception cards, rsvp's, and thank you cards! I had them designed, and I printed them myself and did some other cute little things. I used brown kraft paper envelopes

Wine and Ding Dongs

Wow! I can't believe that its only 7 months away now! There has been a lot of progress in the last few months! Venue has been booked and is beautiful!!! A very rustic, farm style venue, Hannah Nicole Vineyards. We have rented the whole property, and will be getting married in the front gazebo area, backdrop of the vineyards and Mt Diablo. In October, the lighting is going to be beautiful! Ceremony outside in the front, cocktail hour and dinner inside, then dancing outside in the back under the stars! The food, is going to be AMAZING! We had our tasting a few weeks ago, on the menu... Passed appetizers, buffalo chicken w blue cheese and celery and a crusted beef crostini with basil and cheese. Yumm-o! Apple and candied pecan harvest salad, fresh baked bread, garlic mashed taters, coleslaw for sides. Crusted rubbed beef tenderloin and BBQ chicken for the main course. We aren't the very traditional couple, as you all know! So, who needs cake, when you can have ding dongs! That's right! Uber tasty, home made Ding Dongs from our wonderful caterer Willowstone Catering. We will be cutting a pie, with our awesome Boston terrier cake toppers!! Beer and 7 choices of wine to pair with every Delicious yummy goodness that we will be stuffing our faces with! Hannah Nicole's wine is absolutely amazing, if you haven't had it, you will soon, and you will have to agree with me on this one!

Ohh how the time has gone by!

So I know that I have been really bad about updating! But I promise I will get on here more!

The plans are moving oh so well! We have a Venue, DJ, Photographer, Caterer, & Florist!!! We will be making home made pies and I am making the invites! I just ordered all the fabric that I need to make the wedding quilt as well!
